If you’ve been planning to visit 12 Stone Church but had trouble finding the right schedule for you, something cool is coming. Starting September 18, 2010, there will be two Saturday night services at the Hwy 20 campus – 5pm and 645pm.
They are calling it “Saturday Campus” because it’s really a completely seperate team from the Sunday. Saturday will have it’s own awesome worship team and campus pastor plus a totally unique set of volunteers to run the childrens ministry, usher team, etc. It takes a small village to make it happen when the Church seats 2500 people!

Food Drive at Hamilton Mill / Compassion in Action Weekend

hi LikeThis will be my 3rd year in a row leading a very big food drive in the Hamilton Mill area as a leader for Compassion in Action weekend – in cooperation with 12Stone Church. It’s a really cool opportunity for all of us to give SO MUCH back to our community with just a few short hours of effort.
Last year we collected an amazing amount of food and delivered it to the Lawrenceville Co-op.
Hard to believe but there are families right here in Gwinnett that have a huge need (now as always)
This is certainly something that parents and kids can both be part of.
Now’s the time to sign up (takes 2 seconds)
The first step is having each person (parents and kids) sign up here:
Everyone gets a CIA t-shirt but they have to sign up really soon (like this week).
After you to the site, there’s a list of different activities.
The Hamilton Mill food drive is the very first choice (and the best one 
btw, if you can’t be there on Oct 3rd, we also need lots of help with flyer distribution during the week before.
Also, if you can only help for an hour or two on Saturday, that’s fine too. Just come when you can!

hi LikeMost Hamilton Mill residents who regularly attend 12 stone Church go to the Hamilton Mill Campus right on Hwy 124. The Hamilton Mill Campus seats about 350 people. The hwy 20 campus is a brand new 2600 seat facility. If you have not visited the new 12 Stone Church on Hwy 20, this coming Sunday is the time to make it happen! John Maxwell, famous leadership guru, best selling author (and former pastor) is speaking this weekend for two services — 9am & 11am. It’s sure to be great stuff. Hope to see you there! (fyi: this is not the Hamilton Mill location)

It’s got nothing to do with expensive gems (and almost nothing to do with baseball)

It came from a teaching some years ago at my church called “The Diamond Journey of Faith”
It’s a very powerful concept. You could spend days discussing it.
In fact, my wife Sherri & I spent 6 months in a small group discussing it!!!
It’s such a broad concept, it can help you make sense of literally every single piece of your life.
I’m very excited that Pastor Kevin Myers at 12 Stone will be teaching the diamond
again on January 27th (the teaching on the 20th is going to be pretty cool too by the way)
I’m SUPER excited about it.
I think it’s one of the best things I ever learned in my life.
I refer to the diamond all the time when making decisions or evaluating situations.
Please, Please make an effort to visit 12 Stone on the 27th.
I promise you won’t leave disappointed.
There are two services that day at 9am and 11am

Hamilton Mill Tennis Extravaganza was a huge success!

Hamilton Mill Tennis just held their 2nd annual Tennis Extravaganza. This special event raised funds for non-budgeted improvements to the tennis facility. We had 64 players, and over 100 total participants on October 20th. The tennis event was sponsored by Diamond Dwellings and Prince Tennis. Players were divided into 8 “countries” and many sported the colors for their country. Italy was the grand champion, defeating Austrailia in the finals. Food was provided by Antonetta’s, Asian Cafe, Chili’s, Dos Copas, and Log Cabin BBQ. Special thanks to Karen Foley (Simply Tastefully) for the delicious appetizers and munchies. Funds raised will be used for additional shade on court and at spectator areas, and for an online reservation system. The winning team also won a case of tennis balls from Diamond Dwellings!
