Duncan Creek Park Now Open - Just in Time for Summer

hiIf you live near Hamilton Mill, you’ve probably been waiting for the new park to open on Hwy 124. The new Duncan Creek Park located on Braselton Highway at Pine Road opens today! This park is minutes away from everyone in Hamilton Mill.
The official grand opening for the park is scheduled for June 14th, but county officials decided to open to the public today since school is out and there will be plenty of kids looking for new activities.
Duncan Creek park features 110 acres and includes a skate park for bicyclists, skateboarders, and rollerbladers. It also contains a football field, sand volleyball courts, and a playground. Also, the new Hamilton Mill library branch will be added at the park’s entrance later this year.

AT&T Cable Upgrades in Hamilton Mill

hiAT&T is upgrading the network in some neighborhoods of Hamilton Mill to offer faster DSL and a competitive alternative to traditional cable TV service. Their flyers said that they were committed to being good neighbors in working with communities and property owners. Construction was due to begin on May 7th and take approximately 21 days to complete. If needed, landscaping and restoration crews will arrive immediately after the upgrading work is complete.
It appears AT&T has completed some of the upgrades in Hamilton Mill. But it also looks like their landscaping crews were on drugs while they worked! If the boxes in front of your property look like this, call Bob Bruner at 770-363-2062. He’s the AT&T representative who will be able to get the necessary repair work done.
