Hamilton Mill – Today’s the Day – Get Out and Vote

Don’t forget to vote today. You may think this is only the primary and there’s not much to vote for, but how wrong can you be! Our votes count more in the primary elections because we’re voting for local elections that affect our daily lives. There are also several opinion questions on the ballot that will affect future issues and how they are handled by the county’s elected officials. This is your golden opportunity to be “heard”.

It’s also important to vote in the General Election in November but voting today affects our local environment with the choice of district commissioner and the chairman of our county commission as well as other local officials.

If you aren’t registered to vote – shame on you!!! It’s too late for today but go to this Gwinnett County government link to get information on registering to vote.

Remember the old saying: “The squeaky wheel gets the grease”. So today’s your opportunity to be the squeaky wheel and make a difference.
