Hamilton Mill – Hawk girls win 7-AAAAA golf title.
Hamilton Mill and Diamond Dwellings Realty would like to congratulate the Mill Creek Girl’s Golf Team on winning the recent Region 7-AAAAA girls golf tournament.
Mill Creek hoisted the team championship at Hawks Ridge Golf Club in Ball Ground with a score of 156, ruining North Gwinnett’s run of two straight region titles by six strokes.
On Tuesday the Hawks were able to earn their first-ever region championship
Mill Creek golf coach, Ben Hanes was quoted as saying “The girls are playing fantastic right now. I think with all due respect, our region is the toughest in the state, and North Gwinnett and Mill Creek might be the two best teams in the state. I guess we’ll see at the state tournament.”
Mill Creek will next play in the state Class AAAAA tournament at the Indian Mounds Course at the Jekyll Island Golf Resort.
