
Have you ever driven by one of your neighbors homes and seen a moving truck in the driveway and wondered “Why is that truck here loading up the house”? You do not recall seeing a For Sale sign in the yard? You’d not heard either directly from your neighbor or gossip that they were planning on moving?
There are a couple of possibilities for this.
1. The house may be a foreclosure ( probably everyone’s first thought these days)

2. The house was sold because we had knowledge of the families intent to move and were asked to speak with them. Usually this comes about from a personal referral, open houses, seminars or other forms and we found the right buyer for the home. This is called a “Pocket Listing”.
It is very possible that it was a Hamilton Mill “Pocket Listing”. In many of these cases, Diamond Dwellings Realty helped both the Seller and Purchaser make the deal happen.
Many times we come across homeowners who want to sell their home and have talked to us about possibly selling but are either not ready to sell, want confidentiality of a possible sale or just want to see what their options are. In this case, we will keep this information and when we have a Purchaser that is looking for a home, we are aware of this “Pocket Listing” and many other homes that are not currently listed for sale in either of the two Multiple Listing Services. We then put Purchaser and Seller together and make a deal.
